Description This mod allows you to avoid the stretching of hud, when you play Far Cry in singleplayer mode on widescreen monitors (16:9).
Installation: unpack the archive in your Far Cry\Mods directory. To launch this mod, launch "WideScreen\Start WideScreen.bat" file. Note, that you must have installed patch 1.4 for Far Cry.

I decided to set camera fov 120, so weapon will be displayed as it was designed originally in 4:3 mode. However, to actually change fov in game, you must zoom your weapon once during level. If you want to set different fov, open "WideScreen\Scripts\Default\Hud\ZoomView.lua" file and edit line 4.

    @lionel_101, it's too sad :( to hear such news about Vet, really. I wish she will healthy. Hope everything will be ok :) We will remember her.
    My first time on this Forum was started from her post about my project.
    Times going fast :(

    I am very very sad to hear about VET and her heath being so bad. I really hope she is recovering and in good health again. She has done a lot for this site and in making some nice maps / mods for us to play. I hope others that know her for the past 10+ years will keep her in their thoughts when visiting this site and playing Far Cry.
